15 entry points to Chandigarh to be sealed from Today

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, 15 areas focuses to the city will be fixed from April 21 till further requests.

The police said taking into account the lockdown, each of the 38 external fringe nakas were made operational on a nonstop premise where individuals and vehicles according to government directions were being permitted to enter the city.

As of late, police positioned at these obstructions were given infrared thermometers to screen all people entering the city.

The police asserted that their staff at these external obstructions were additionally furnished with an adequate number of covers, gloves, and sanitizers to play it safe while releasing from work and calling off duty on that particular day.

They said considering the rising number of cases in the city and the requirement for limiting the section of individuals, 15 external hindrances were recognized and this eventual shut for development from April 21 till further requests.

The police said nobody will be permitted to either try or cross these boundaries by walking. The Police will continue to enforce strict measures to make sure everyone is safe
