The Rose Festival
The Rose Festival at Rose Garden Chandigarh is a grand event organized every year by the authorities. The festival is organized by the end of the month of February. It lasts until the starting of March. Thus, it is a three days event.
Almost 20,000 visitors gather for the Rose Garden Festival at Rose Garden Chandigarh across the country.
In addition to the exhibition of an abundant variety of roses, there are many cultural events, competitions, and other activities.
The entrance of the Zakin Hussain Rose Garden Chandigarh is elegantly decorated and is one of the main attractions of the festival.
Particularly, the main road outside the garden is usually under restriction for vehicles. It is for safety as there are a huge number of visitors roaming on the road.
The entrance has an exhibition of photographs of flowers by many experienced photographers. The garden area is full of attention-grabbing statutes made by trimming the bushes.
There are performances by famous artists in the open area. There is a prize distribution for the winners of respective competitions.

The Rose Garden timings
Generally, the visiting hours for the Rose Garden Chandigarh are from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm. While during the Rose Garden Festival the timings may differ.
The entry fee charges Rs 50 for both Adults and Kids.
However, there are no charges for the entry of the Rose Garden Festival.
