This is how CBSE pending exams to conduct in Chandigarh

The UT Administration & CBSE decided for Schools in Chandigarh to conduct the pending exams. The centres will regulate the exams for Class 12 CBSE students. The students will resume their preparations for exams after by the board.

The date sheet for CBSE pending exams was notified on Monday. The students were uncertain about the pending exams during the last few days. Although the exams got a postponement by the board. It was done after the declaration of the pandemic of COVID-19.

However, the dates of the CBSE pending exams for Punjabi language are not out yet. The dates for the Punjabi examination determined by the regional office, Chandigarh. The board is coordinating with the regional office to determine the date.

Guidelines for Centres

During the exams, 12 students must be seated in one room. Therefore, there must be a distance of one meter between each student. The centre must deploy only one invigilator in one examination room.

Guidelines for Candidates

Students must carry their hand sanitizers in a transparent bottle. They must cover their mouth wearing masks or with cloth.

Candidates must follow social distancing and avoiding any physical contact.

The parents must guide their ward about the precautions for safety. The parents must ensure that their ward is not sick to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The compartment exams of Class IX and XI which were to begin on May 15 have been postponed till further notice. The board will declare a date sheet one week prior to the exams by the board.

Due to an increase in COVID-19 patients, the possibility of opening of schools is lesser. As a result, the department has decided to postpone the exams. The dates for the exams have not been provided yet.  Therefore, the exams will be notified after the reopening of schools.
